Effective date:October 30, 2026
MineTools ("we") operates minetools.cn (the "Website"). We take the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Website, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. By using the Website, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1. Features You Can Use Without Registering
You can use tools such as command generators on the Website without registering. Anything you enter into a tool is processed on your device; we do not collect it.
2. Registration and Sign-In Information
When you register an account, we collect the username, password, and email address you provide. Passwords are stored using irreversible encryption, so no one, including us, can view your original password.
3. Sign In with a Third-Party Account
If you choose to sign in with a Google or Microsoft account, after you grant permission, we receive your account's unique identifier, display name, and email address from the relevant service. We use this information only to create, identify, and sign in to your account on the Website. We do not receive your third-party account password or access any other information in that account.
4. Content You Provide
This includes content you save to “My Library,” favorited tools, daily check-in and points records, and the descriptions and generated results you submit when using “AI Command Writer.”
5. Usage Information
To help keep the Website secure and understand how it is used, we log information such as IP addresses, access times, pages visited, and browser and device types.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the Website's features, such as signing in, saving and syncing your content, daily check-in, and points.
- To keep accounts secure, for example, by verifying your identity, sending verification codes, and helping you reset your password.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and attacks, and keep the Website running normally.
- To measure and analyze overall Website usage to improve our services.
We do not use your personal information to send you ads or sell it.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Preferences such as favorites, generation history, editing drafts, and version selection are stored in your browser and used only on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser, but doing so may sign you out or delete content saved locally.
4. Sharing Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information with third parties only when necessary in the following circumstances:
- When you use “AI Command Writer,” the description you submit is sent to the provider of our AI services solely to generate a result. It does not include your account information.
- When we send emails such as verification codes, your email address is shared with the email delivery provider we use.
- When required by law or in response to a lawful request from a judicial or administrative authority.

Account information and saved content are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete your account and related data. Access logs are deleted after they are no longer needed.
6. Your Rights
- View and edit your account information on the “Account & Security” page, and link or unlink your email address and third-party accounts.
