Protection enchantment command
minecraft:protectionEnglish name Protection
Protection (minecraft:protection) has a maximum level of IV.Reduces almost all types of damage.Here are commands for enchanted books, direct enchantment, and enchantments above the normal level cap.
Common Commands
Apply Protection IV to the held item
/enchant @p minecraft:protection 4
The held item must support this enchantment, and it must not conflict with existing enchantments
Protection IV Enchanted Book
/give @p enchanted_book[stored_enchantments={protection:4}]Netherite Chestplate with Protection IV
/give @p netherite_chestplate[enchantments={protection:4}]Over the Limit: Protection Level 10
/give @p netherite_chestplate[enchantments={protection:10}]With /give, you can set the level up to 255; this isn't possible with an Enchanting Table or Anvil in Survival mode
