String command

minecraft:stringEnglish name String

String (minecraft:string) can be stacked up to 64.Here are common commands for giving, clearing, and checking. Click "Copy" to use one.

Common Commands

Give the nearest player 1 String

Give a stack (64)

/give @p minecraft:string 64

Give all players

/give @a minecraft:string

Gold Name

/give @p string[custom_name={translate:"item.minecraft.string",color:"gold",italic:false}]

To use a name of your own, replace the translate part with plain text

Clear all String from the player

/clear @p minecraft:string

Check if holding String

/execute as @a if items entity @s weapon.mainhand minecraft:string run title @s actionbar ["",{text:"✔ ",color:"green"},{translate:"item.minecraft.string"}]
