Resistance effect command

minecraft:resistanceEnglish name Resistance

Resistance (minecraft:resistance) is a beneficial effect.Reduces damage taken (20% per level; level 5 grants immunity to most damage).Here are commands to give, clear, and create potions.

Common Commands

Give the nearest Player 30 seconds (level I)

/effect give @p minecraft:resistance 30 0

Level II, lasts 1 minute

/effect give @p minecraft:resistance 60 1

Levels start at 0: 0 is level I, 1 is level II

All players, infinite duration, hide particles

/effect give @a minecraft:resistance infinite 0 true

Clear Resistance

/effect clear @p minecraft:resistance

Resistance Potion (3 minutes)

Duration is measured in ticks (20 ticks = 1 second)

Gain while standing on a Block of Gold

Run continuously in a repeating command block
